Padfield Independent Chapel, Temple Street was built in 1828 at a cost of £260 and had just 12 pews. In 1901 it was extended and in 1973 became Padfield Congregational Chapel. At one time Padfield Independent Chapel boasted a very successful cricket team and hosted many social events, Musicals, Plays etc. Now, as Padfield Congregational Chapel, it is still thriving, with many events throughout the year from Messy Chapel parties for families and Children to Quiz nights, Tea parties and Fairs.
Regular Services every Sunday. Padfield Congregational Chapel is also available for Christenings, Weddings and Funerals.
In 2018, there was considerable refurbishment of the Chapel building paid for by kind donations and lots of Fundraiser activities within Padfield village.
