Village annual events and regular activities

Throughout the year the village entertains several events and seasonal activities:

The Annual Events

• The popular Coal Race, which is a must-do for family and friends;
• The Plum Fair, which sadly ended in 2013, is currently in need of new organisers;
• The Padfield Floral Competition, held annually between May and August;
• The Annual General Meeting of the Padfield Residents' Society;
• The bi-annual Padfield Impromptu.

The Regular Groups

• The Hadfield with Padfield W.I. meets at Hadfield Methodist Church, 99 Station Road, Hadfield. SK13 1AR
  on the 2nd Tuesday of the month at 7.30 pm;
  
• The Tuesday Club meets at the Independent Chapel between 11am and 12pm;
  
• The monthly Communion Service and Sunday School, held on the first Sunday of each month at 10:45am to 12pm, also at the Independent Chapel.​
  

The Seasonal Activities

• Santa's visit around the village;
• The Christmas Lunch at the Peels Arms pub;
• The Easter quiz night, Christmas fair and seasonal services at the Independent Chapel.
