Floral Competition
We will be holding the Floral Competition again this year.
We will be looking for design, colour, original ideas and impact.
Judges will be walking round the village over the summer with the final judging taking place in August so time to get your gardens competition-ready.

Coal Race
We are delighted to be able to bring you the ever-popular Coal race again this year.
This will be on Sunday 10th September. R egistrations will be open from 12.00 with races starting at 12.30.
Entry fees - £5.00 for adults and £3.00 for children, please note we do not have card facilities, entry fees will need to be paid in cash.
We will need a First Aider for the event, if you are First Aid trained and willing to help on the day; please contact us.
This was so popular last year, we would love to see as many of you as possible again this year.
Please come along, join in, and have some fun.

The Chapel are planning a training session on how to use the defibrillator, dates to be confirmed shortly.
Places will be limited but a second session can be planned if necessary.
Fashion Show – Friday 15th September, tickets will be available soon.
Salt and Light – A professional production of a Biblical Story at the Chapel on Saturday 30th September, tickets available soon.

Sing for fun club
If you like a good sing-along you are welcome to join us onTuesday evenings 7.30 – 8.30.
This is not a choir, anyone can come along and just enjoy singing favourite songs as part of a group.
